Founded in 1975, Shindico Realty Inc. is a full-service commercial real estate company and one of the largest privately owned real estate firms in Manitoba. As owners and managers of commercial real estate, Shindico’s diverse portfolio of properties includes shopping centres, office buildings, industrial parks, multifamily apartments, personal storage, and mixed-use developments. We have successfully developed more than 8 million square feet of innovative sites and spaces, with another 12.6 million already in the works.

Diversifying Shindico’s Holdings
In 2019, Shindico was asked to partner with Main + Main, a leading Canadian mixed-use urban developer. Main + Main has a successful track record having invested in over 70 properties and assembled more than 20 sites for projects in Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal core locations. The Main + Main pipeline consists of 4.5M square feet of high-density, mixed-use developments in Canada’s largest and fastest growing cities.
Shindico is also partnered with StorageVille in the development and management of first-class personal storage facilities. With two locations in Winnipeg, StorageVille offers a secure and convenient place to store your household items and business supplies.
Professional Associations
Our President, Sandy Shindleman, and his association with CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) was a great springboard to the growth we now enjoy. As a senior instructor at the CCIM Institute, Sandy has taught Real Estate Development all over the world and has held several esteemed positions on distinguished committees and boards that help drive our industry forward.
Shindico is also proud to be a member of several notable associations and networks. These include CORFAC International, the Retail Brokers Network, the Professional Property Managers Association (PPMA), The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), and Winnipeg Construction Association (WCA).
