Professional Background

Leanne has worked in Property Management Accounting and Finance since 2003. Leanne joined Shindico in 2005 and was promoted to the role of Controller in 2016. In 2009, Leanne obtained her CGA designation, graduating in the top 10 in Canada.

Leanne manages the staff responsible for a portfolio of over 150 properties including revenue management, budgeting, capital planning, financial statements, and audits. She is involved in asset management and business development preparing valuations, financial analyses, and projections to evaluate returns on investment. Leanne is well versed in Yardi, Shindico’s accounting and property management software and oversees onboarding of new management acquisitions (tenants, recoveries, budgets), report development, and ongoing software administration. Leanne is also responsible for administering the company’s policy and procedures manual.
