Shindico is a Winnipeg based, full service commercial real estate organization. We are seeking an experienced Live-in Superintendent to join our rapidly expanding operations. The Superintendent will be responsible for a 124-suite luxury apartment building on Taylor Avenue, close to Grant Park Festival.
The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail, with the ability to effectively deal with tenants along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is a full-time position.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Detailed cleaning of all common areas including lobby, event center, fitness room, lounge, storage areas, mechanical rooms, hallways, stairwells, exterior patio, vestibules, elevators, and any other space directed by Building Manager
- Completing weekly, monthly and quarterly cleaning schedule that is provided
- On-call rotation, responding to emergency after-hours calls (phone to be provided)
- Daily collection of on floor garbage including emptying into the primary bin
- Occasional grounds maintenance including but not limited to litter control, sweeping, hand shoveling at entrance, window cleaning, and other duties as assigned
- Showing suites as required
- Reporting to Building Manager
- Regular walk through of property to inspect building, parking lot and common areas
