Westport

Westport is an exciting new mixed-use development with 1,000,000 sq. ft. of proposed building area on 70 acres of land featuring retail, hotels, restaurants, offices, warehouses and multi-family opportunities.

Situated in the heart of the largest concentration of sporting and recreational complexes in Manitoba including the 460-acre Red River Exhibition Park (“Manitoba’s State Fair Grounds”), Assiniboia Downs Horse Racing and BellMTS Iceplex — NHL Winnipeg Jets and AHL Manitoba Moose practice facility and home to Manitoba Junior A Hockey and a world-class concussion centre.

Plenty of existing and new customers are located nearby. New multifamily residential is under construction on the site with over 750 units planned. The new 12,000 sq. ft. Festival Early Learning and Child Care Centre is also located next door at Red River Exhibition Park.

Westport is adjacent to the dominant intersection of Trans-Canada Highway #1 (Portage Avenue) and the Perimeter Highway (#101) in West Winnipeg and has excellent exposure to the Trans-Canada Highway.  Two signalized intersections allow easy access and egress from the site. The development is located within the City of Winnipeg limits with full city services.
