Property Accountant
Working within a team of property accountants, you will be responsible for the overall accounting functions for a real estate asset portfolio consisting of retail, office, residential or development properties.
Main responsibilities include the following:
- Full cycle accounting for a portfolio of properties including monthly financial reporting, budgets, variance analysis, operations reports
- Analyze, review and report on financial performance versus budget; reconcile operating cost and property tax recoveries
- Team lead on various projects
- Prepare government remittances and other reports
- Respond to inquiries from team members
- Ad hoc projects

You should possess the following key skills and attributes:
- Professional Accounting designation completed or in A combination of education and experience may also be considered
- Self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, with above average problem-solving skills
- Likes to work as a team while independently managing their own responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of competence with Microsoft Excel/Office and adept at learning new systems
- Yardi Voyager and Real Estate experience is an asset
