On February 7th 2015, Shindico celebrated their 10 year anniversary in their corporate headquarters at 1355 Taylor Avenue - a 20,000 square foot green building designed to LEED standards.  The building was awarded a Crystal Achievement Award for the most innovative glass design in a LEED building in North America.  We are proud to have created a healthy work environment that provides clean air, and a smoke-free property and has resulted in increased productivity and health benefits for our employees and tenants.

A public hearing was held on December 15 and 16, 2014 at the RBC Convention Centre in Winnipeg regarding the expropriation of the fire/paramedic station lands located at 1780 Taylor Avenue. The city proposed to expropriate only Parcel A, leaving Parcel B (a small triangular parcel of land) orphaned from Parcels C, D, and E of the current owner (Shindico).

At the recent CCIM Thrive Conference held October 21 – 22, 2014 in Los Angeles, California Sandy Shindleman was recognized for his contributions and leadership as CCIM Foundation President 2012 and 2013.

With construction well underway at The Plaza at Polo Park and the new Target opening in October, we are pleased to advise that the first payment on the debt owing to the Province on the Investors Group Field has been made from realty taxes paid to the City on the Plaza land.
