The Shindleman family history begins in 1912, when Sandy and Robert’s grandfather, Harry Shindleman, emigrated to Canada. The Shindlemans started in various farming and agricultural activities, meat processing and grocery business.
Sandy Shindleman recognized very early that he wanted to work in the real estate industry and, at the age of 18, became a licensed real estate broker and started investing in local real estate in Portage la Prairie. Sandy moved to Winnipeg in 1975 and that is where the Shindico story begins.

The founding of SNR Construction Ltd, our new construction division, will allow us to have even greater flexibility and cost control.
