We all have certain achievements in our careers that we strive to reach. For a restauranteur, it’s a Michelin star; for an NHL hockey team, it’s the Stanley Cup. In commercial real estate consulting, many strive to become members of The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE). I had the honour of being invited to become a member of this prestigious organization this year.
What is the CRE?
The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) is a high-profile organization that consists of individuals who have achieved the highest level of expertise and achievements in their real estate specialty. To become a member, you must be invited, though you can individually apply if you’ve had over 10 years’ experience in real estate and 3 years of property advisory services.
Holders of this designation are among the highest caliber in the industry. They are recognized for their ethics, experience, expertise, influence and prominence in real estate.
Why Hire a CRE?
Government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, developers, accountants, not-for-profits; these are just some of the wide array of marketing participants CRE’s have expertise in. Counselors are a select group of professionals that are recognized for their ability to deliver unbiased real estate advice that is in the best interest of the client.
As respected real estate specialists in the industry, Counselors of Real Estate work on complex projects, manage real estate businesses and are known for innovative and creative solutions.
