The Shindleman Aquatic Centre has been recognized as one of the top indoor water parks in Canada in the February issue of Today’s Parent magazine.
Located in the Portage la Prairie PCU Centre, the Shindleman Aquatic Centre is Manitoba's largest leisure/wave pool. The leisure pool includes 6-25metre swim lanes, lazy river, tots pool area, zero beach and ramp entry, 212 ft waterslide and 14 person whirlpool.
The family mission statement of “Succeeding by Helping Others Succeed” is the cornerstone of the Sandy and Robert Shindleman’s success. They are proud members of their community and believe in giving back to others. They are proud to have the Shindleman Aquatic Centre in their home town of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and of the park dedicated in the name of their late father, Edward Shindleman Park, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
